Providing Professional Security Across Two Successful Seasons

Location Secure was appointed during Season 1 of one of the UK's largest television productions and was retained to continue supporting the project throughout Season 2. Our role was to protect high-value production equipment, filming locations, studios, unit bases, production offices, cast, crew, and other critical assets, ensuring the production could operate safely and efficiently.

The Challenge

The production presented a highly demanding security environment, with filming taking place across numerous locations, many of which were situated in areas with a known history of equipment theft. The continued success of the series, combined with an internationally recognised cast, attracted increased public attention and required a proactive, flexible, and highly professional security operation.
The level of risk was demonstrated on the very first preparation day of Season 2, when an attempted theft of a generator occurred within minutes of it arriving on site. Thanks to the vigilance and swift response of our security officer, the incident was prevented before any loss occurred.

Our Solution

Location Secure delivered a fully managed 24-hour security operation, deploying experienced, fully vetted officers supported by a dedicated management team.
Working closely with the production's Locations Department, we provided a responsive and scalable security solution that adapted to the changing demands of a major television production.
During Season 2, our team secured 132 filming locations, many of which were revisited multiple times, delivering over 108,000 hours of professional security coverage. Throughout the project, we also worked collaboratively with the production team to review deployment requirements and identify opportunities to maximise efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of protection.
